Managing the Server, Tenants and Users
The netERP server runs as a Linux service; it is managed in the Admin Center in the browser.
Server architecture
The server is a Linux service with MariaDB as the database. A job service retrieves mailboxes, creates SLA tickets and performs cleanup; OpenSearch provides full-text search. The server package is available on request for self-hosted installations.
The Admin Center
Access the Admin Center in your browser at https://<dein-server>/admin. Change the admin account password on first login.
- Users: create locally or import from Active Directory, set passwords, unlock locked accounts.
- Roles and permissions: permissions per module for View, Create, Edit and Delete.
- Directory: LDAPS connection to Active Directory with test and user import; the card „Windows-Login“ configures Single Sign-On via Kerberos automatically.
- Search: OpenSearch connection and reindexing.
- Jobs: status, last runs, „Run now“, enable and disable.
- Certificates and listeners: generate or upload certificates and assign them to the HTTPS endpoint.
Tenants
In the client, switch and manage tenants via Tenant → Switch and Manage. There you will also find tenant settings, number ranges, mailboxes, relay servers and New Tenant….
Traceability
netERP records for each record who created and modified it and when. Deleted items remain marked, ticket and CRM history are only appended. Under Tenant → Data → Record Locks you can see who is currently editing which records.
