With this privacy statement we inform you about which personal data we process when you visit this website, when you submit project and support requests and when you use our separate software portal at reg.net-base-software-gmbh.de, for what purposes this is done and which rights you are entitled to.

2. General principles
We process personal data only to the extent necessary for the technical operation of our websites and portals, for the handling of inquiries, for login, download and licensing functions, for IT security or to fulfil legal obligations. In doing so we observe in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).
3. Accessing the website and server log files
When net-base-software-gmbh.de and the separate software portal at reg.net-base-software-gmbh.de are accessed, the server processes technically necessary connection data, in particular IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referrer, browser type and operating system. These data are required to provide the pages in a stable, secure and technically error-free manner.
The processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and uninterrupted operation of our web offerings and in the defence against misuse and attacks.
4. SSL / TLS encryption
Our website and the software portal use encrypted connections. This protects transmitted content, for example project and support requests or portal login data, during transmission.
5. Project and support forms
If you contact us via the project or support forms, we process the data you provide, in particular name, company, e-mail address, subject and message. The inquiry is stored in our internal database, assigned to a corresponding form profile and additionally forwarded by e-mail to the internally registered contact or support address.
The processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your inquiry is aimed at pre-contractual, contractual or support-related measures. In all other cases the processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in the efficient handling of incoming inquiries.
The data remain with us until the purpose of processing ceases, you request deletion, or statutory retention obligations oppose immediate deletion.
6. Contact by e-mail
If you contact us by e-mail outside the form, we process the data transmitted solely for the purpose of handling your request. The legal basis is likewise Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR, depending on the content of your inquiry.
Please note that communication by e-mail can have security gaps. If you need to transmit particularly sensitive information, please contact us beforehand.
7. Cookies and comparable technologies
This website currently does not use marketing, tracking or analytics cookies. A technically required language cookie may only be set if you consciously choose a different language. This session cookie stores exclusively your language preference for the current browser session and expires automatically when the browser is closed.
The legal basis for this technically required cookie is § 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG as well as Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in a user-friendly and consistent presentation of the website in the language you selected.
8. Software portal at reg.net-base-software-gmbh.de
At reg.net-base-software-gmbh.de we operate a separate software portal for downloads, registration, license management and account-related functions. If you access this portal for informational purposes only, the same principles apply initially as for the main site: technically necessary connection data are processed in order to provide the portal securely, traceably and functionally.
If you log in to the portal, enter data there or use account-related functions, we additionally process the data required for this, in particular login details, contact and account data, information about products, downloads, license assignments and support-related information, insofar as this is necessary for provision, access protection, contract execution, support and traceability.
The processing is carried out to that extent on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as it is necessary for the initiation or performance of contractual services, and otherwise on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for IT security, abuse prevention, technical administration and a traceable operation. In the context of login or session functions, technically necessary session cookies may be used in the portal. According to our current technical status, no pre-set marketing or analytics cookies are used when simply calling up the portal’s home and login pages.
9. No analytics or marketing services
We currently do not use external tracking, retargeting or marketing services for visitors on our public web offerings. No third-party fonts, externally hosted JavaScript frameworks or marketing pixels are loaded for the public website. The public software portal also currently loads its styles and scripts from its own provisioning.
10. Recipients of data
Personal data are only disclosed to parties insofar as this is necessary for the provision of the website, the portal or the handling of your inquiry. This may include technical hosting and administration service providers, insofar as they are strictly bound to the purpose. No transfer is made for advertising purposes.
11. Retention periods
Server log data are retained only as long as necessary for secure operation, error analysis and abuse detection. Project and support inquiries are retained only as long as necessary for communication, project initiation, technical follow-up, internal traceability or statutory obligations.
Data from the software portal are retained only as long as necessary for account management, license administration, provision of downloads, support, verifiability or statutory retention obligations.
